Rosewood Rangers
“We watch the roads. So others can live.”
Founded after the outbreak by local volunteers, hunters and former service members, the Rangers turned abandoned farms and backroads into a loose defensive network.
They describe themselves as friendly and protective rather than a government. Their stated purpose is simple: protect people, provide what they can and keep the roads between communities alive.
What a faction needs
Identity
A memorable name, a believable origin, a faction type and a clear reputation or alignment.
Purpose
More than “we are a group.” Give the faction objectives that create interaction and choices: trade, protection, recovery, farming, scouting, medicine, territory, conflict or something else grounded in the world.
Place in the world
Describe the area or kind of base the faction operates from. Avoid claiming half the map or lore-breaking authority.
